About Streetlight Grace
At Streetlight Grace, we believe hope shines brightest in the darkest places. Every Monday from 4–7 p.m. at Awaken Church in El Cajon, our team gathers to serve the homeless community with dignity, honesty, and love.
We offer more than just a hot meal and a haircut—we offer truth, prayer, and a pathway out of the streets. Our mission is not to make life on the streets more comfortable, but to make the road off the streets more accessible.
Our Mission
We exist to:
Provide hot meals and haircuts as opportunities to connect personally.
Share the truth about fentanyl—a deadly weapon designed to destroy lives, not sustain them.
Create a bridge to detox programs, resources, and long-term recovery.
Offer prayer, encouragement, and follow-through for anyone ready to take the next step.
Refuse to enable homelessness with temporary fixes that keep people stuck, instead focusing on real solutions that restore lives.
What Makes Us Different
We are not here to provide quick comforts that prolong suffering. Instead, we serve intentionally—every haircut, every meal, every prayer is an open door to conversation, healing, and change. By focusing on resources that help people off the streets, rather than keep them there, we provide a safe and honest space for transformation.
Our Heart
We believe every person has worth, dignity, and a future beyond addiction and homelessness. Through practical care and spiritual encouragement, we walk beside those who are ready to step out of darkness and into the light of grace.
